We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our Children's homes in Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people by providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment. You will work as part of a professional team to support children and young people with their daily routines, emotional wellbeing, education, and personal development.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide high quality care and support to children and young people.

  • Support young people with daily living skills, education, and activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Work collaboratively with families, social workers, and other professionals.
  • Participate in sleep‑in shifts as part of the rota.

Requirements

  • Hold a full UK manual driving licence.
  • Previous experience in residential childcare or a similar role is desirable.
  • A caring, patient, and resilient nature.
  • Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and sleep‑ins.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
