Introduction

Roundhill Day Nursery are looking for a new Childcare Apprentice. You will be studying toward your Early Years Educator apprenticeship L3.

About the Employer

Roundhill was originally founded in 2012 when Emma, our nursery owner and manager set out to find a setting for her first Nursery. It took almost 4 long years to find the right property and finally, we have The School House, Stourport.

What You'll Do

Join our warm and welcoming team at Roundhill Day Nursery as an Early Years Apprentice, where you’ll play an active role in supporting the learning, development, and wellbeing of children aged 0–5. This apprenticeship is ideal for someone passionate about early education, ready to take on more responsibility, and eager to develop the skills needed to lead high quality play and learning experiences. You’ll work alongside experienced practitioners, contribute to planning activities, build positive relationships with children and families, and create a safe, stimulating environment that encourages curiosity and confidence. A fantastic opportunity to grow professionally while making a real difference every day.

This is vibrant early years environment where children are brimming with curiosity, creativity, and energy. As an Apprentice, you'll play a central role in shaping these early experiences helping young children grow, learn, and feel secure during some of the most important years of their lives.

Every day, you’ll help create an environment where children feel valued, empowered, and excited to explore. Whether you’re leading an engaging activity, supporting individual learning needs, or creating magical moments of discovery, you’re an essential part of making each child’s day meaningful.

Your role will include;

  • Plan and lead engaging, developmentally appropriate activities
  • Carry out observations and contribute to children’s learning journeys
  • Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
  • Build strong, nurturing relationships with children and families
  • Support daily routines

Training Outcome

There is a possibility of being offered a full time role after successful completion of the apprenticeship.
