About the role

Join the team changing young lives across South Yorkshire. Roundabout, South Yorkshire's youth homelessness charity, is on the lookout for a motivated, creative and people-focused Fundraising Officer to join our vibrant team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fun, fast-paced and purpose-driven environment, supporting a team of six passionate fundraisers across everything from events and community fundraising to individual giving, corporate partnerships and grants.

No two days are ever the same, from finding Christmas trees to creating boxing and D-Jing sessions for our young people. You'll be the go-to person for keeping our supporter database running smoothly, making sure our records are accurate and up to date. You'll also be the friendly contact for anyone who wants to donate items that benefit our young people — helping to turn generosity into real impact.

With a natural flair for organisation and a big heart for supporter care, you'll make sure every donation, from regular to individual gets a heartfelt thank you, helping our supporters feel the difference they're making. And when it's time to step away from the desk, you'll play a hands-on role at our brilliant fundraising events — bringing energy, creativity and a smile as we raise vital funds to end youth homelessness. (There'll be evening or weekend events, and we always have lots of fun).

If you're someone who loves variety, enjoys teamwork, and is excited by the idea of using your skills to make a lasting difference, then this could be the perfect role for you. Bring your enthusiasm, ideas and organisational flair — and help us change lives at Roundabout.

Please download and complete an application form, ensuring that all areas of the Role Specification are addressed in your application. The closing date for receipt of completed applications will be Thursday 4 December at 3.00pm. Interviews will be held Monday 15 December.
