We are partnering with a fast-growing international sports organisation to hire a Senior IT Manager for their London office. This is a genuinely interesting role. The business is transitioning away from shared technology resources and needs someone to build the IT function largely from scratch, covering infrastructure, operations and governance. You will become the primary technology presence in London, supporting a team expected to grow from 30 to 50+ people over the next few months.

What the role involves:

  • The immediate priority is leading the transition from shared technology resources to a fully independent IT setup. This includes assessing requirements, selecting and onboarding an MSP, and establishing the governance, security and operational frameworks the business needs to stand on its own.
  • Beyond that, the role covers CRM and asset management implementation, identity management, software licensing, AI tooling and collaboration platforms.

Who we are looking for:

  • Someone who has done this before in a scale-up or a business going through transformation.
  • You will be comfortable building from scratch, making decisions independently, and growing into a broader remit over time.
  • Large enterprise backgrounds with narrow, segmented IT roles are unlikely to be the right fit.
  • The role is hands-on today, with clear scope to grow.

This is a full-time role requiring a minimum of 4 days per week onsite in their central London office.
