Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Set performance goals with upper management.
  2. Learn company policies that affect the department/business.
  3. Monitor progress performance with key trainers and upper management.
  4. Achieve department sales goals through the efficient execution of company policies.
  5. Maintain a floor presence of at least 90% of the shift, providing sales and troubleshooting support.
  6. Control payout ratio by monitoring and auditing payout numbers per company standard, instructing and coaching staff on necessary adjustments.
  7. Ensure all machine malfunctions/repairs are reported to facilities mechanics, and follow up as needed.
  8. Conduct till checks, refunds, credit, and ticket adjustments in accordance with company policy.
  9. Hold weekly staff meetings with department supervisors to discuss and resolve any issues relating to operations, staffing, customer service, etc.
  10. Complete all amusement reports and audits as assigned by the corporate office in a timely manner.
  11. Create department schedules, task assignments, and issue breaks/lunches.
  12. Conduct and monitor department inventory, submitting reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
  13. Train, coach, and issue disciplinary actions for department staff.
  14. Place monthly product orders for store supplies, crane plush, and redemption prizes.
  15. Open/close store and department following company guidelines.
  16. Cross-train and maintain a basic understanding of all store departments.
  17. Assist guests at POS and game floor, resolving customer complaints and escalations.

Qualifications:

  1. Associate’s degree and 2-3 years of retail management experience, preferably in the entertainment, retail, or hospitality industries but not required.

Work Environment:

  1. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust, and activity can be expected. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Demands:

  1. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb, and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces. The employee is required to stand and walk for extensive periods of time without breaks during busy times. In addition, the employee will need to be able to use their hands/fingers to handle and feel and reach with hands and arms. Lifting and/or moving up to 100 lbs with assistance is required.
