Our Client is seeking an experienced RICS Residential Surveyor to join our growing residential surveying practice. The role involves carrying out RICS Level 2 valuations across Hertfordshire and London, delivering high-quality, client-focused reports in line with RICS standards. This position would suit a surveyor who is detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable working independently while being part of a supportive and forward-thinking team.
Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
- Conduct RICS Level 2 valuations
- Produce accurate, clear, and timely survey reports
- Identify defects, risks, and maintenance issues with appropriate recommendations
- Communicate professionally with clients and other stakeholders where required
- Manage workload efficiently to meet agreed turnaround times
- Travel across the Home Counties to attend inspections
The Successful Applicant will need to possess the following skills:
- AssocRICS or MRICS qualification (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential surveying (Preferred)
- Proven experience completing Level 2 Home Surveys
- Strong technical knowledge of residential construction
- Excellent attention to detail and report-writing skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
The hours will be: Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm (Part time and Work From Home is also available). Salary range will be: £50,000.
