Property Management Coordinator - Private landlord - Kilburn NW5 (Temp – Perm)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Management Coordinator to join our Client based in Kilburn, NW5.

This is a Temp to Perm role and you’ll be supporting and working for a private landlord.

Responsibilities include but not limited to

  • Reviewing and organising the existing paper file for each property;
  • Creating a corresponding secure electronic folder structure;
  • Scanning, naming and indexing documents consistently;
  • Establishing a master property and tenancy register;
  • Creating a compliance calendar with reminders and evidence-of-service records;
  • Organising tenancy agreements, deposit-protection certificates and prescribed information;
  • Organising gas-safety certificates, EICRs, EPCs, licences and other statutory documents;
  • Establishing contractor, maintenance and tenant-correspondence records;
  • Organising invoices and expenditure records for my accountant;
  • Preparing straightforward written procedures for handling all future documents and correspondence;
  • Ongoing property administration.
  • Monitoring compliance, licensing and certificate deadlines;
  • Preparing and checking tenancy and deposit documentation;
  • Coordinating contractors, maintenance and appointments;
  • Maintaining accurate records for each property;
  • Organising correspondence with tenants, contractors and local authorities;
  • Preparing orderly financial information for my accountant;
  • Providing me with a clear regular report identifying outstanding actions and deadlines.

The Successful Applicant will need to possess the following skills

  • Substantial recent experience in UKresidential lettings or property management;
  • A Propertymark/ARLA or relevant NRLA Level 3 qualification would be highly desirable, together with evidence of recent professional development concerning the current legislation;
  • Current knowledge of the Renters’ Rights legislation and associated landlord obligations;
  • Practical knowledge of tenancy-deposit protection and prescribed information;
  • Experience with gas safety, EICRs, EPCs, smoke and CO alarms, HMO and selective licensing;
  • Excellent Microsoft 365, Outlook, Word and Excel skills;
  • Strong experience using One Drive, Share Point or a comparable electronic document-management system;
  • Demonstrable experience establishing filing, compliance or property-management systems from scratch;
  • Excellent written English, discretion and attention to detail;
  • Sufficient judgment to recognise matters that require referral to a solicitor, accountant or other qualified professional rather than attempting to give professional advice.

Salary range will be

Its a Temp to Perm role so that means its has an hourly rate£22.50.00 per hour

The hours will be

  • Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm ( three days a week)
