Property Inventory Clerk – East London/Essex (Remote Working + 1 Day in Office)

Our client, a well-respected estate agency, is currently seeking a Property Inventory Clerk to join their dynamic and busy team based in East London/Essex, with one mandatory day per week in the office located in London, SE1.

As an Inventory Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include conducting all Check-Ins, Check-Outs, and Mid-term Inspections. You must have a keen eye for detail and be highly efficient in your work ethic.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Prepare reports of required works
  2. Manage a social housing portfolio of around 600 properties, typically handling 6-7 properties per day
  3. Arrange quotations for works
  4. Re-visit properties to ensure all works have been completed to the correct standard
  5. Conduct full inventories and take photos
  6. Collate required certificates
  7. Enter property and landlord details into the software system
  8. Prepare files for the Admin Department

The successful applicant will need to possess the following skills:

  1. Proven track record in inventory and property administration
  2. At least 12-24 months of experience in a similar role within the property industry
  3. Confident, well-presented, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  4. Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and maintain high-quality work and service levels
  5. Articulate with a keen eye for detail
  6. Strong clerical and organizational skills

The hours are: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm, with remote working and mandatory attendance once a week at the SE1 office.

Salary range: £33,000 to £38,000 per annum, plus a company car or car allowance.
