Overview
Part Time Property Manager – Brentwood, CM14 A strong, well-respected and very established Property Firm are actively seeking a personable, professional Part Time Property Manager based in Brentwood, CM14. The successful Property Manager will be responsible for a portfolio of properties, therefore they must be able to manage their own workload, keep on top of any issues and prioritise jobs as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Collect rent – Monitor and chase arrears.
- Handle maintenance issues – Organise repairs and liaise with contractors.
- Routine inspections – Schedule and carry out periodic property checks.
- Keep landlord informed – Provide updates and reports as required.
- Ensure legal compliance – Gas Safety Certificate, EICR, EPC, smoke and CO alarms.
- Manage renewals – Negotiate tenancy renewals or rent increases.
- Tenant communication – Day-to-day queries and issue resolution.
- Contractor management – Vetting, scheduling, and overseeing works.
- Deposit returns – Negotiate disputes and quotations for deductions.
- Ending a tenancy – Arrange check out and literature for end of tenancy.
- Property Inspections – Managed property.
The Successful Applicant will need to possess the following skills
- Must be able to hit the ground running so minimum of 5 years property management experience as a Property Manager is essential for this role.
- It is highly desirable that candidates have intermediate computer literacy.
- Experience of lettings/property management software packages.
- Letting qualifications is essential.
- Be able to manage their own workload.
- Own car for Inspections.
Hours
The hours will be:
- Tuesday and Thursday – 9am to 5.30pm
- Saturday – 9am to 5pm
Salary
£27,000 pro rata
