Working as part of the maintenance team to respond to all basic maintenance and repair issues in the buildings as highlighted by the property management department.
Complete multi-disciplined types of maintenance both inside and outside our properties such as plumbing, carpentry, basic electrical checks, groundwork and painting. Ensure that works are performed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
- Plumbing, i.e. unblocking drains/toilets, investigating & stopping leaks.
- Basic Electrics, i.e. changing light fittings, replacing plugs, fuses, and light bulbs.
- Decorating, i.e. stain blocking, touching up walls/woodwork, fencing.
- Collection, transportation and delivery of items.
- Basic repairs, replace door handles, toilet seats, shower hoses and heads etc.
- Clear roof surfaces and gutters.
- Clean carpets as required.
- Assessing void flats between tenancies and implement remedial works to kitchens and bathrooms as required.
- Attending departmental and other relevant meetings, as requested.
- Undergoing appropriate training as available and as determined in conjunction with the Property Maintenance Manager.
- Carrying out any other reasonable duties as required by the Property Maintenance Team Leader or other designated senior staff.
Own van needed including tools.
Hours of work: Monday‑Thursday 9am‑5:30pm, Friday 4:00pm.
£32‑36k pa dependent on skills and experience + car allowance.
