An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Manager Team Leader to join our Client based in Southgate, N14. The responsibility of the Maintenance Manager involves the general management of the Maintenance Operatives, overseeing the allocation of maintenance jobs, ensuring that there is structure and efficiency within the team, and that all tasks are completed to the required standard, and within a timely manner.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing estimates for works when requested
  • Assessing jobs prior to Maintenance Operatives attending, and providing office with timescales, costings and overseeing the job
  • Training maintenance staff to standards
  • Supervising and directing preparations
  • Inspections
  • Spot checks
  • Controlling works orders and organiser on CFP
  • Timesheets and overtime
  • Petty Cash sign off
  • Emergency Line
  • Responsible for recruitment of Maintenance Operatives and finding suitable sub-contractors
  • Ensuring all Maintenance Operatives have correct and clean uniform
  • Ensuring all Maintenance vans are clean and fully stocked

The Successful Applicant will need to possess the following skills:

  • Must have some experience preferably in maintenance or property management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Candidate must be extremely well organised
  • Be able to multi-task
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Effective ethical and professional relationship with suppliers, operatives as well as subcontractors
  • Must have a clean driver's license

The hours will be: Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm

Salary range will be: between £40,000pa to £50,000pa + Company Car
