An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced property administrator to join our client based in West Essex on an 18 months FTC maternity cover. A leading, vibrant, professional, dynamic and very well respected estate agency are currently seeking to strengthen their already very successful team with an experienced property management administrator.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for setting up an average of 25-35 tenancies per month.
- Liaising with lettings negotiators once the deposit is secured.
- Putting in hand references and seeing them through successfully.
- Setting up periodic contracts.
- Updating landlords/tenants as to the progress of the proposed tenancy.
- Arranging pre-tenancy works, gas/electric inspections.
- Arranging inventory.
- Registering tenant deposits.
- Informing council tax/water board of new tenancy.
- Passing over the completed tenancy successfully to the portfolio manager.
The Successful Applicant will need to possess the following skills:
- Proven track record in property administration.
- At least 2 years experience in a similar role within the property industry.
- Should be confident, well-presented and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- This is an extremely busy role and needs someone who is highly motivated, passionate about property and capable of working under pressure with the ability to multi-task without compromising on the quality of work or level of service.
- Car preferable although not essential so long as can commute to the required office.
This Property Administrator position is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to start at the end of May with a 2 week handover period. The hours will be: 9am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday + one day WFH. Salary range will be: £28,000 to £32,000.
