An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Residential Sales Valuer to join our client based in Essex. As a Valuer/Lister, you will be confident in dealing with properties and clients across the range into the very top end and be involved in the whole Property Sales process from generating and carrying out viewings to negotiating and pushing deals through to their successful completion.

As a valuer, you will need to have the ability to build long-term business relationships with clients and buyers, be focused and determined in working to targets, and be a strong team player.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating canvassing activities to generate new business
  • Effectively marketing properties to attract potential buyers
  • Listing new instructions on Rightmove
  • Generating new instructions
  • Coordinating property valuations and listings
  • Registering applicants
  • Providing constructive feedback
  • Carrying out viewings
  • Negotiating and taking offers
  • Matching prospective buyers to suitable properties and arranging viewings accordingly
  • Maintaining regular contact with vendors, buyers, and other relevant parties
  • Dealing with financial/legal matters relating to the sales process
  • Guiding vendors and buyers through the sales process from agreement of the sale to legal completion
  • Contributing to the smooth running of the branch on a daily basis

The Successful Applicant will need to possess the following skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years Estate Agency experience
  • Proven track record in sales, with a minimum of 18 months experience
  • Well-presented and have excellent customer service skills
  • Driven and highly motivated to succeed
  • Conversant in estate agency practice
  • Excellent marketing skills
  • Target-driven with a strong desire to succeed within a sales environment
  • Excellent communication skills and able to articulate ideas in a concise way
  • Enjoy working in a team environment
  • Valid UK driving licence

This Senior Sales Negotiator/Lister position is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate, with long-term career prospects. The hours will be: Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 6:00 pm; Saturdays 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (Tuesday Off In Lieu of working Saturdays).

Salary range will be: £30,000 pa basic + 1.25% commission on SWF sale completions & lettings, which on average equals £4,500 - £6,500 per annum. Instruction Bonus - £5,000 - £10,000. Office target completion bonus £250 x 12 = £3,000 per annum. The above equates to approximately OTE between £42,500 - £49,500 (with potential to increase this with more instructions). Guaranteed £40,000 for 3 months during the 3-month probation period.
