Property Maintenance Manager and Team Leader – Southgate, N14 ( + Company Van)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Maintenance Manager team Leader to join our Client based in Southgate, N14The responsibility of the Maintenance Manager involves the general management of the Maintenance Operatives, overseeing the allocation of maintenance jobs, ensuring that there is structure and efficiency within the team, and that all tasks are completed to the required standard, and within a timely manner.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Providing estimates for works when requested
• Assess jobs prior to Maintenance Operatives attending, and provide office with timescales, costings and oversee the job
• Training maintenance staff to standards
• Supervise and direct preparations
• Inspections
• Spot checks
• Control works orders and organiser on CFP
• Timesheets and overtime
• Petty Cash sign off
• Emergency Line
• Responsible for recruitment of Maintenance Operatives and finding suitable sub-contractors
• Ensuring all Maintenance Operatives have correct and clean uniform
• Ensuring all Maintenance vans are clean and fully stocked

The Successful Applicant will need to possess the following skills:

• Must have some experience preferably in maintenance or property management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Candidate must be extremely well organised
• Be able to multi task
• Excellent IT skills
• Effective ethical and professional relationship with suppliers, operatives as well as subcontractors.
• Must have a clean drivers license

The hours will be: Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm

Salary range will be: between £40,000pa to £50,000pa + Company Car
