About the CompanyAuxitrol Weston is a global aerospace manufacturer specialising in temperature, speed and pressure sensors for gas turbine and airframe applications. Based in Farnborough, the site employs approximately 175 people and supports a range of aerospace and airframe applications.
The RoleAs a Group Leader Production , you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of multiple production teams or cells, ensuring performance targets are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support Team Leaders and production operators across multiple cells.
Monitor safety, quality, cost and delivery performance. Track TAKT time, production boards and hourly output, taking corrective action where required.
Drive 5S, Lean manufacturing, waste reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure standard work, processes and documentation are followed.
Manage non-conformances and support corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Coordinate capacity planning, manpower allocation, maintenance and production resources.
Support operator training, cross-training and performance management.
Work closely with planning, maintenance, quality and other support functions.
About YouWe are looking for someone with: At least 12 months' experience managing a team within a manufacturing environment. Strong production leadership and problem-solving skills. Experience with 5S, TAKT, Lean and continuous improvement .Experience managing quality issues and corrective actions.
Excellent communication and organisational skills. The ability to remain composed and make effective decisions under pressure.
