Role:
CMM Operator: Night shift Monday – Thursday: 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Responsibilities of CMM Operator:
- Carrying out all inspections in a timely and efficient manner.
- Verifying that components meet specifications and customer requirements.
- Completing production orders and associated documents related to the inspected/released components and maintaining relevant records.
- Verifying that documents have been correctly completed by other employees, providing feedback and training when required.
- Ensuring the equipment used is calibrated, accurate, and fit for purpose; responsible for notifying if not the case.
- Representing the company at external audits and customer liaisons.
- Supporting and contributing to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing projects; accountable for waste management.
- Supporting teamwork and sharing experience within the workforce.
- Complying with the company\’s health and safety policies.
- Reporting any health and safety incidents.
Experience Required for CMM Operator:
- Experience operating a CMM machine.
- Ideally holding a qualification such as HNC/HND or equivalent, or relevant experience.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
