The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the shipment and delivery of goods from international suppliers to our warehouse.
This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks, and offers the chance to be part of a global organisation with clear progression.
Your responsibilities as Import / Export
Controller: Coordinate and manage the import process from start to finish, including the preparation of shipping documents, customs clearance, and delivery of goods to the warehouse.
Liaise with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Maintain accurate records of all import transactions, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs documents.
Ensure compliance with all relevant import regulations and procedures.
Monitor inventory levels and work with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
Identify opportunities to improve import processes and implement changes to increase efficiency.
As Import / Export Controller you will likely have the following: Experience in import/export operations or logistics.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
Strong knowledge of import regulations and procedures.
Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics providers.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
