Are you a Senior Quality Engineer with leadership experience, ready to take the lead in a senior-level role within a highly regulated, precision engineering environment?

We’re recruiting a Senior Quality Engineer to work with a globally recognised aerospace manufacturing business based in Lincoln, operating under a multi-billion-dollar industrial group who are rapidly growing.

What You’ll Be Doing

As Senior Quality Engineer, you will oversee a team of 30+ quality professionals and own site-level QC strategy. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the training, development, and performance of a large QC team
  • Managing metrology, inspection and GD&T
  • Leading MRB activities and supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions activities
  • Driving compliance to AS9100, ISO9001, AS9102, NADCAP, and ISO14001
  • Embedding a quality-first mindset, and continuous improvement activities across engineering, production, and leadership team

What You’ll Need as Senior Quality Engineer

  • HNC/HND/Apprenticeship/Degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Proven leadership experience in quality within regulated manufacturing, ideally aerospace
  • Deep knowledge of GD&T, metrology and inspection processes
  • Strong expertise in RCA methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa
  • A hands-on leadership style, confident working on the shop floor and engaging at senior levels
