We're seeking a Quality Manager to join the Senior Leadership Team of a Tier 1 Aerospace manufacturing organisation that operates as part of a globally recognised industrial group. With a strong reputation for high-precision components and international operations, this organisation is a world leader, and is looking for a Quality Manager to lead quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory compliance at site level.
What You'll Do as Quality Manager:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for all quality functions across the site
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO9001, AS9102, NADCAP, and environmental standards (ISO14001)
- Drive QMS maturity through internal audits, gap assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Represent the business during customer audits and escalations, ensuring robust root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes are in place
- Conduct supplier audits and oversee supplier quality performance
- Promote a quality-first culture across production and engineering teams, providing training and support to quality personnel
What You'll Need as Quality Manager:
- Apprenticeship or HNC/D in an engineering discipline
- Proven leadership experience in Quality Management within a highly regulated manufacturing environment
- In-depth knowledge of quality standards including AS9100, AS9102, and NADCAP
- Strong expertise in problem-solving methodologies and corrective action implementation (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa)
- Hands-on, shop-floor-focused leadership style with the ability to influence at all organisational levels
