Are you a Quality Control Manager or a Quality Engineer with leadership experience, ready to take the lead in a senior-level role within a highly regulated, precision engineering environment?
We’re recruiting a Quality Control Manager, to work with a globally recognised aerospace manufacturing business based in Lincoln, operating under a multi-billion-dollar industrial group who are rapidly growing.
What You’ll Be Doing
As Quality Control Manager, you will be part of the Senior Leadership Team, overseeing a team of 30+ quality professionals and owning the site-level QC function. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the training, development, and performance of a large QC team
- Managing metrology, inspection and GD&T
- Leading MRB activities and supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions activities
- Driving compliance to AS9100, ISO9001, AS9102, NADCAP, and ISO14001
- Embedding a quality-first mindset, and continuous improvement activities across engineering, production, and leadership team
What You’ll Need
- HNC/HND/Apprenticeship/Degree in an Engineering discipline
- Proven leadership experience in quality within regulated manufacturing, ideally aerospace
- Deep knowledge of GD&T, metrology and inspection processes
- Strong expertise in RCA methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa
- A hands-on leadership style, confident working on the shop floor and engaging at senior levels
