CNC Machinist & Programmer – Large-Scale Precision Engineering

RPS Recruitment is proud to be exclusively partnering with BCW Manufacturing Group to appoint an experienced CNC Machinist and programmer for their advanced engineering facility.

If you\’re a skilled CNC Machinist with programming expertise in PowerMill or HyperMill, and have experience with large 3-axis and 5-axis components, this is a high-impact role in a highly respected manufacturing business.

BCW is a leader in precision engineering, known for producing complex, high-value components. As a key CNC Machinist, you’ll operate large Correa milling machines using Heidenhain controls, delivering parts to exacting tolerances. You\’ll also play a hands-on role as a programmer, creating and editing CNC programs for low-volume production and prototype work.

Your responsibilities will span:

• Machine setup, operation, and adjustment
• CAM programming (offline and at the machine)
• Process development and tooling optimisation
• First-off and in-process inspection
• Collaboration with Engineering and Quality teams

To be considered, you\’ll need:

• 5+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist
• Proven skills as a programmer using PowerMill or HyperMill
• Confidence with Heidenhain controls and large-bed machines
• A strong understanding of machining, tooling, and inspection
