We are looking for a highly motivated and technically strong Investment Analyst to join our team in London on a full-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to real estate investment initiatives across the living sector, including Residential, Student Housing, and other living-focused asset classes across the UK and European markets. The position will involve supporting the origination, underwriting, and execution of strategic investments, while playing a key role in the ongoing growth of our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Investments team in evaluating real estate opportunities across the UK and broader European markets.
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models, asset-level business plans, sensitivities, and portfolio forecasts to underwrite potential acquisitions and asset management initiatives.
  • Perform cash flow modelling, valuation analysis, returns underwriting, and scenario testing with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare and maintain investment pipeline tracking and provide timely updates on live opportunities.
  • Conduct market research, comparable transaction analysis, and broader corporate finance workstreams to support transaction due diligence and investment decision-making.
  • Prepare high-quality investment memoranda, presentations, committee papers, and reporting materials for internal committees, senior management, and external partners.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external advisers to support transaction execution, due diligence, and closing processes.
  • Assist in monitoring and managing existing investments, including performance tracking, portfolio analysis, and regular reporting.
  • Coordinate closely with the wider Investments team to ensure alignment across markets, strategies, and execution priorities.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in real estate private equity, investment banking, real estate investment, or a related principal investing environment.
  • Outstanding technical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and strong experience building and auditing complex financial models.
  • Strong understanding of real estate valuation, underwriting, cash flow modelling, and investment analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative capabilities, with strong attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy.
  • Confident preparing clear, well-structured presentation materials for senior internal and external audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional European languages are welcome.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and cross-functional environment.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercial in approach, with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.
