Superscript is on the lookout for a technical and data-oriented Senior Technical Product Manager to help support our ambitious product and tech strategy.
You will lead our core technology services, and ensure we are adapting continuously to the needs of customers. Importantly, you’ll be joining a growing team of product, design and tech professionals supporting the growth plans of our scaling business.
What you’ll get up to:
- Lead product management of our core services that underpin our business, this includes policy management, customer data and payments.
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle – identify gaps in our systems that improve customer experience and deliver commercial benefit.
- Work closely with technology, data and UX teams to conceptualise, design and deliver large data-driven systems.
- Work closely with a wide range of stakeholders (tech team, design, customer operations, architecture).
- Write clear requirements specifications in collaboration with engineering and architecture.
- Identify operational improvements by developing clear process and system mapping to identify opportunities.
- Manage the release of changes to core services, working with product and stakeholders.
About you:
We don’t like to put people into boxes, but it’s safe to say you have:
- 6+ years product management experience, ideally with a background in managing commercials.
- Ability to prioritise and deliver initiatives to correlate closely with measurable commercial impact.
- A passion for building business capabilities working closely with tech and data functions, a drive for understanding what is ‘under the hood’.
- Experience in setting up best practices to manage products and shape the direction of a squad.
- Care for the quality of work and the impact it has for customers.
- Knowledge of Agile processes e.g. SCRUM and Kanban, including roles, responsibilities and rituals.
It’s beneficial if
- You have an understanding of insurance processes.
- You have experience using tools like Jira, Tableau or Looker.
