The RolesDepending on experience and business need, successful candidates will work within production and/or finishing operations , supporting the manufacture, trimming, finishing, inspection, and preparation of moulded products to exacting quality standards.Reporting to a Team Leader, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping.Key Responsibilities (may include)Operating production machinery and ovens in line with work instructionsOpening moulds, removing products, and setting up moulding operationsTrimming, finishing, inspecting, and repairing products to specificationHandling products safely using appropriate equipment and jigsPalletising, packaging, or boxing finished products to customer requirementsCompleting production and quality documentation accuratelyMaintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environmentAdhering strictly to all health and safety requirements, including PPESupporting colleagues and flexing across areas where required to minimise downtimeSkills & ExperiencePrevious experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirableKnowledge of safe working practices and use of hand toolsGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamQualificationsNo formal qualifications requiredA good standard of English and maths is essentialPersonal QualitiesStrong attention to detailExcellent time management and reliabilityAbility to meet deadlines consistentlyPositive, professional, and safety-conscious approachWillingness to be flexible across roles and shiftsPhysical RequirementsRoles operate in a hot working environmentSome positions may involve manoeuvring large or heavy products using appropriate equipment and team supportHours of WorkVarious shift patterns availableFull training providedShift allocation will depend on role, experience, and business requirementsEmployment Package & BenefitsCompetitive hourly rate (role and shift dependent)37.5 hours per week25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with service)Annual Christmas shutdown (leave adjusted accordingly)Pension contributionDeath in Service benefitSalary sacrifice schemes (subject to eligibility)Company-funded Cash Health Plan, including:Dental and optical cashbackCounselling, legal, and financial supportRetail discountsWhy Join Rototek Newark?This is a stable and supportive opportunity within a business that takes quality, safety, and employee wellbeing seriously.
