Multiple Manufacturing Operative & Finishing Roles

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join Rototek Newark, a well-established and highly respected manufacturing organisation. Due to ongoing growth, we are recruiting multiple Manufacturing Operatives across the business, including Production Operators and Finishing Operators, working across a range of shifts. These roles are suited to practical, reliable, and quality-focused individuals who take pride in working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Roles
Depending on experience and business need, successful candidates will work within production and/or finishing operations, supporting the manufacture, trimming, finishing, inspection, and preparation of moulded products to exacting quality standards. Reporting to a Team Leader, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping.
Key Responsibilities (may include)
- Operating production machinery and ovens in line with work instructions
- Opening moulds, removing products, and setting up moulding operations
- Trimming, finishing, inspecting, and repairing products to specification
- Handling products safely using appropriate equipment and jigs
- Palletising, packaging, or boxing finished products to customer requirements
- Completing production and quality documentation accurately
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Adhering strictly to all health and safety requirements, including PPE
- Supporting colleagues and flexing across areas where required to minimise downtime
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable
- Knowledge of safe working practices and use of hand tools
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

- A good standard of English and maths is essential
