We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead medium to large technical projects with both complexity and impact. You'll ensure delivery on time, within budget, to quality standards, and aligned with business objectives.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading the planning, organisation and delivery of technical projects, ensuring clear scope, timelines, roles and reporting structures.
- Driving effective communication across project teams and stakeholders to enable successful outcomes.
- Managing cross-functional teams (without line management responsibility) and coordinating vendor and contract activity in partnership with Procurement.
- Identifying, managing and mitigating project risks, issues and constraints.
- Providing regular project updates, budget tracking and reporting throughout the project lifecycle, including final sign-off and post-implementation reviews.
- Ensuring adherence to project management frameworks, standards and governance.
- Monitoring dependencies and critical paths across programmes or portfolios.
- Managing project budgets, capital expenditure and vendor contracts.
Who you'll work with:
You’ll build strong relationships across the business, including Sponsors, Steering Committees, IT Operations, Finance, Procurement, Group Operations, PMO and external partners such as contractors, consultants, and hardware/software vendors.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to lead small teams with a diverse range of skills and styles.
- Proven ability to manage large complex projects with multiple work streams.
- Strong understanding and application of Project Management competencies including scope, time, costs, quality, HR, communications, risk, procurement and integration.
- Strong understanding and application of change management competencies.
- Effective leadership, coordination, negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
