Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Manchester, United Kingdom. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and optimising mechanical systems and components. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer requirements and drive continuous improvement across our product range.
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems using 3D CAD tools, ensuring precision and adherence to technical specifications.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions.
- Conduct mechanical analysis and simulations to validate designs and optimise performance.
- Manage and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) structures, ensuring accuracy and traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with colleagues across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to support product development and improvement initiatives.
- Analyse customer requirements and translate them into practical engineering solutions.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance product quality and manufacturability.

- Demonstrated experience in creating and managing BOM structures.
- Strong technical documentation and drawing skills.
- Solid understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
