Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to provide support with planned and reactive maintenance tasks for all building, plant and machinery across the Bath facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Responding to planned and reactive maintenance requests promptly and effectively
  • Ensuring high standards of safety and durability in all tasks
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Participating in accident investigations and contribute to safety improvements
  • Deliver electrical awareness training to relevant personnel
  • Manage and maintain a computerised PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) system

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of electrical components, safety codes, and regulations
  • Professional, technically proficient, and mechanically adept
  • Skills in operating tools safely around electrical components
  • Minimum 17th Edition qualification
  • C&G or NVQ in Electrical installation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of other maintenance activities
  • Experience or knowledge of working on machinery and plant equipment
