Overview
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to provide support with planned and reactive maintenance tasks for all building, plant and machinery across the Bath facilities.
Responsibilities
- Responding to planned and reactive maintenance requests promptly and effectively
- Ensuring high standards of safety and durability in all tasks
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Participating in accident investigations and contribute to safety improvements
- Deliver electrical awareness training to relevant personnel
- Manage and maintain a computerised PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) system
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of electrical components, safety codes, and regulations
- Professional, technically proficient, and mechanically adept
- Skills in operating tools safely around electrical components
- Minimum 17th Edition qualification
- C&G or NVQ in Electrical installation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of other maintenance activities
- Experience or knowledge of working on machinery and plant equipment
