We are seeking a skilled individual to join our Group Finance team. This key team member will play a vital role in preparing half-year and year-end Group financial statements, managing the audit process, and preparing holding company management and statutory accounts. You will partner with Legal and Finance departments, develop sustainability reporting, support subsidiary accountants, and enhance the control environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing financial statements and relevant notes/disclosures
- Supporting the Group audit process and liaising with external auditors
- Assisting UK subsidiary accountants with their financial statements
- Drafting technical accounting papers
- Assessing new accounting standards
- Developing and integrating sustainability reporting
- Preparing consolidation entries for Group management accounts
- Managing accounting risks
- Improving the control environment
- Monitoring FX translation risk
- Working closely with the Treasury team

Qualifications & Technical knowledge:
- Degree educated and qualified accountant (preferably ACA)
- Use of financial reporting systems (e.g. Microsoft D365, SAGE200, OneStream)

- Results orientated and highly numerate
- Highly motivated and ability to work independently
- Well-developed influencing and senior stakeholder engagement and management skills
