We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join Rotork, a global leader in flow control and intelligent actuation solutions, supporting critical infrastructure across sectors such as energy, water, and industrial processing. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role offers the opportunity to work within a highly engineered, safety‑critical environment where quality is central to performance and reputation. In this role, you will take ownership of a significant portion of Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs), driving them through containment, investigation, and closure. You will lead root cause analysis, implement corrective and preventive actions, and analyse trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Working cross‑functionally, you will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve quality issues, reduce repeat defects, and strengthen overall process performance.
Experience Required
- Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
- Proven experience with NCR and CAPA processes in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and specifications
- Experience using structured problem‑solving tools (e.g. 8D, 5 Whys, FMEA, SPC)
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems
- Experience working cross‑functionally with production, engineering, and supply chain teams
- Familiarity with ERP/QMS systems (e.g. Microsoft D365) desirable
- Knowledge of ATEX or hazardous area regulations advantageous
