Excellent opportunity opens for a Relationship Manager to join a growing International Bank. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a portfolio of international and expat clients, managing relationships from initial onboarding through to long-term development. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will support clients with complex, cross-border banking needs while driving portfolio growth through tailored financial conversations and the identification of relevant product opportunities. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across product, operations, compliance and onboarding teams to deliver a seamless and high-quality client experience, while also contributing to the continuous improvement of client journeys, service models and digital engagement strategies.

Main Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management
    • Act as the primary point of contact for onboarded clients, delivering a high-quality, seamless experience
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive engagement and regular follow-ups
    • Support new clients through onboarding, including welcome calls and guidance on services and products
  • Portfolio Management & Growth
    • Manage a portfolio of expat/international clients, monitoring behaviour, needs and opportunities
    • Identify and execute cross-sell opportunities aligned with client profiles and regulatory requirements
    • Drive growth in deposits and client liabilities through needs-based conversations
  • Client Service & Experience
    • Deliver responsive and professional support to client enquiries
    • Take ownership of issue resolution, coordinating internally where required
    • Monitor client satisfaction and act on feedback to improve service delivery
  • Compliance & Risk Management
    • Ensure all client interactions comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including KYC and documentation
    • Identify and escalate any risks, unusual activity or compliance concerns
  • Collaboration & Reporting
    • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth client servicing
    • Provide insights from client interactions to support product and service improvements
    • Track and report on client activity, engagement and portfolio performance
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Contribute to process, service and digital journey enhancements
    • Stay up to date with product knowledge, regulatory changes and industry best practices

Main Requirements

  • Arab Speaker Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or related field
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g. CISI, CII, CeMAP) are advantageous

Experience & Skills

  • 5+ 7 years’ experience in client relationship management within banking, wealth management or financial services
  • Proven experience managing client portfolios, including retention and growth of assets or liabilities
  • Experience working with international or high-net-worth clients, ideally with cross-border exposure
  • Strong understanding of banking products (e.g. deposits, FX, mortgages, savings)
  • Solid knowledge of regulatory frameworks including KYC, AML and client suitability
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple client relationships effectively
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work across teams
  • Strong risk awareness and commitment to compliance
