Graduate Wealth Management Trainee - Client Support
A leading global private bank & wealth manager is looking for a Client Service Executive to join its UK Wealth Management business in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stage of their career who wants to build experience in private banking, wealth management and high-quality client service. You will support an established team of Relationship Managers, helping deliver a first-class service to high net worth private clients.
You do not need trading experience from day one, but you should be keen to learn, highly organised and comfortable working in a professional, client-focused environment.
The role
You will act as a key support point for Relationship Managers and their clients, helping with day-to-day administration, client queries and operational processes.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Relationship Managers with the ongoing service of private client relationships
- Assisting with client onboarding, account administration and documentation
- Processing payments, trades, cash deposits, loans, security transfers and valuation reports
- Responding to client and internal stakeholder queries accurately and efficiently
- Working closely with the wider Client Service team and internal departments
- Helping ensure a smooth, professional and consistent client experience
- Managing workload, deadlines and competing priorities
- Supporting process improvement and maintaining high standards of risk awareness
What we are looking for
This role would suit someone with some experience in financial services, wealth management, private banking, investment management, financial planning, client service or administration.
You should be able to demonstrate:
- Strong client service and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organisation and time management
- A proactive, reliable and professional approach
- Confidence dealing with clients, Relationship Managers and internal stakeholders
- Ability to manage queries, resolve issues and follow processes properly
- Interest in private banking, investments and wealth management
- A team-focused attitude and willingness to learn
Qualifications
No full IOC is required at application stage. You should either have completed, be studying towards, or be willing to complete the CISI Introduction to Securities and Investment. Further CISI qualifications, including the Investment Advice Diploma, would be advantageous but are not essential.
