Excellent opportunity opens to join an International Bank as their new ServiceNow Product Owner. You will drive forward the implementation of ServiceNow across its UK operations as a Technical Subject Matter Expert, and play a crucial role within the Modern Workplace team.
Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the technologies and services that provide Service Management capabilities in the UK.
- Act as a Technical Subject Matter Expert for these solutions within the UK.
- Help drive the formation of a Service Management strategy and policies, working with colleagues across the UK, providing guidance and raising awareness with colleagues on how to best utilise these platforms in the future.
- Develop and embed best practice and new ways of working to ensure efficiency savings are achieved, collaboration is improved, and customer experience enhanced.
- Gather and assess technical requirements for new engagements, manage existing engagements with infrastructure partners, projects and programmes and ensure we maximise the use of the chosen solution as a strategic platform for the UK bank.
- Actively identify and support the prioritisation of new functionality to meet the needs of the UK bank.
- Awareness of and accountability for ensuring the platforms adhere to and have clear procedures to manage all their own Regulatory, Compliance and Risk requirements – identifying, measuring, analysing and reporting.
- Support the training and adoption of new tools and services, working closely with the Change Adoption Manager.
- Address user inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance on best practices.
- Contribute to the efficient running of the IT operating model.
- Gather and present relevant MI for stakeholders.
- Stay current with all things Service Management, including changes, updates, roadmap & releases.
- Liaise with the Bank's function for delivery of Group managed applications and services.
- Work in conjunction with internal stakeholders across teams in the UK and Group level.
- Ensure that conflicts of interest are identified, documented and are managed appropriately.
- Ensure an annual evaluation of established rules and procedures is carried out, and documented that internal control is fit-for-purpose.
- Actively engage with and build relationships with UK and Group colleagues as well as external vendors.
