We are seeking a hands-on Salesforce Developer to join the Run/Ops team of a major UK bank, supporting and enhancing a business-critical Salesforce platform.
Working closely with the Salesforce Technical Lead and Lead Architect, you will take ownership of the development, Integration and configuration while delivering platform enhancements across Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and Salesforce Industries/OmniStudio.
Key responsibilities
- Work on Salesforce FSC projects to integrate with 3rd party SAAS systems and internal on Prem systems leveraging APIs, different integration patterns and tools.
- Leverage the existing DevOps tools and methodologies (Azure DevOps) for deployments of user stories/tickets/bugs.
- Analyse requirements and translate them into technical solutions especially around Integrations.
- Design, Build, and test applications ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Also, integral part of the Run/Ops team of Salesforce to help with BAU requests and maintain the Salesforce Platform.
- Own the Salesforce tickets/incidents raised by the end customers and help with the build/resolution.
- Work closely with the technical lead and architect to build enhancements on the existing Salesforce platform.
- Completion of necessary technical/solution documents and artefacts in line with organisation standards.
- Adhere to best practices, quality management framework and ensure quality delivery of enterprise solutions.
- Hands-on Salesforce solution development with proven knowledge and experience across both declarative configuration and programmatic development.
- Perform peer reviews and sign-off technical solution.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce customisation and Integration developer.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, streaming API, CDC and Platform events.
- Experience in Financial Services Cloud and Vlocity (Salesforce Industries).
- Expert in Salesforce Lightning, flows, Salesforce security model and other configuration tools in Salesforce.
- Experience in customisation leveraging LWC and Apex (triggers, batch classes).
- Good experience in Omnistudio – Omniscripts, Flex Cards, Data Raptors and Integration Procedures.
- Experience in implementing eID&V solutions.
- Experience in working for a bank or a financial service institution is a plus.
- Salesforce system admin, developer, app builder and omnistudio developer certification is a plus.
