A leading global markets firm is hiring a Senior/Team Lead C# developer to lead a desk-facing development team supporting its commodities trading business in London. This is a hands-on role sitting directly with front office users (trading, sales, structuring), building and owning the tools they rely on day-to-day. You will lead a small team while remaining actively involved in development, delivery and production support.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading a small front office development team (task allocation, priorities, stakeholder management)
- Working directly with traders and senior business stakeholders to deliver solutions
- Designing and building pricing, market data, risk and reporting tools
- Owning delivery end-to-end from requirements through to production support
- Managing competing priorities across project work and live trading support
- Driving improvements in architecture, scalability and long-term platform stability
Tech environment:
- C# / .NET / .NET Core
- Microservices architecture
- SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB
- Angular / AngularJS
- Market data integration (Bloomberg, Reuters)
