A growing financial services organisation is looking for an Automation Developer / RPA Developer to join its Efficiency and Automation team. This is a hands-on role focused on delivering practical automation solutions that reduce manual effort, improve operational efficiency, and create capacity across the business. The team works on small, frequent, high-impact improvements, using automation to remove repetitive administrative tasks and help colleagues spend more time on value-adding work.
You will be involved across the full automation lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through to development, testing, deployment, support and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation solutions using UiPath, alongside supporting technologies such as C#, SQL, JavaScript, .NET, REST APIs and dynamic forms.
- Delivering end-to-end automation projects, including requirements, design, development, testing and deployment
- Building and maintaining UiPath RPA solutions
- Developing smart forms and dynamic form solutions to capture structured data and support automation workflows
- Supporting and maintaining existing automation solutions
- Contributing to backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives
- Working in an Agile environment, including pair programming and continuous improvement practices
- Using delivery and performance insights, including DORA-style metrics, to improve engineering outcomes
- Providing training and support to end users
- Keeping up to date with developments in RPA, automation technologies and best practice
The ideal candidate will have experience delivering enterprise automation solutions, ideally within a financial services or regulated environment.
- Experience building dynamic forms / smart forms
- Good technical capability across C#, SQL, JavaScript and .NET
- Experience delivering end-to-end process improvement or automation projects
- Understanding of Lean / Agile development practices
- RPA development in banking, financial services or another regulated industry
- Process automation, workflow automation or business process improvement
- Agile delivery teams
- Secure coding and automation governance
- Power Platform, OCR, document automation or workflow tooling
- CI/CD or modern engineering practices
