A leading bank is undergoing a major technology and digital transformation programme and is looking for an Implementation Manager to support its Modern Workplace workstream. This role will focus on release planning, cutover, migration readiness, go-live preparation and service transition across digital workplace solutions delivered through Group technology teams and external vendors.

You will work closely with delivery leads, suppliers, internal technology teams and business stakeholders to make sure workplace technology changes are planned properly, governed effectively and transitioned smoothly into production.

Key responsibilities
  • Own implementation management across Modern Workplace deliveries
  • Create and maintain release schedules, roadmaps and delivery plans
  • Manage environment, tenant and platform readiness
  • Build and maintain detailed cutover, migration and go-live plans
  • Support delivery leads with implementation and readiness activity
  • Coordinate external suppliers, third-party vendors and Group technology stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to change governance, controls and delivery standards
  • Track progress, manage risks, escalate issues and support successful delivery
  • Help build a repeatable service transition and operational handover model
  • Formally transition completed solutions into production and BAU support
What we're looking for
  • Experience as an Implementation Manager, Release Manager, Cutover Manager or Service Transition Manager
  • Background delivering Digital Workplace, Modern Workplace, M365, end-user technology or collaboration platform change
  • Strong release planning, implementation planning and go-live readiness experience
  • Good understanding of change governance, service transition and operational handover
  • Experience working with external vendors, suppliers or group technology functions
  • Confident stakeholder management across technology, business and delivery teams
  • Comfortable working across both agile and waterfall delivery environments
  • Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills
  • Pragmatic, delivery-focused and able to bring structure to complex change
