Excellent opportunity opens for an ambitious and proactive Business Analyst to join a Boutique Bank in London and work on an exciting Core Banking Transformation. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technological solutions. This role will report to the Business Transformation Director and involve analysing business needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and working closely with stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
Primary job duties and responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, analyse, and prioritise business requirements.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user guides.
- Scope Definition: Translate business requirements into functional and non‑functional scope to create specifications for solutions.
- Solution Selection: Research potential solutions; test the market through an RFI or RFP process; evaluate proposals against the original requirements to ensure the capability of delivering the business benefit.
- Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis to support decision‑making and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Project Delivery: Assist the project team in planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within scope.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
- Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to business processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Ideal knowledge, skills, and experience:
- Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst.
- Experience in process modelling and mapping.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools (eg, SQL, Excel) and Business Intelligence applications.
- Exposure to working within a regulated or financial services organisation.
- Experience in managing projects or working within project teams.
