Exciting opportunity for an experienced Application Support Analyst to join a Private Bank on their application modernisation project. This is a great chance to join their 2nd line support team, investigating and supporting the migration of applications from core banking to cloud systems.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting banking application migrations
- Working with Windows application developers and engineers
- Collaborating with the iSeries/IBMi/AS400/i5 specialists
- Respond to and resolve application-related incidents and service requests
- Propose enhancements to applications and lead mini-projects to improve customer experience, automate tasks, and streamline support processes
- Assess, manage and resolve security vulnerabilities and observations
Experience:
- Experience working in an application support role
- Proven experience supporting bespoke or custom-built applications
- Proficient in SQL coding
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Windows Server environments
- PowerShell, SFTP, and WinSCP proficiency
- Familiarity with alerting
- Monitoring and APM tools such as Data Dog
- Understanding of security protocols including Entra ID
- Experience using version control tools such as GIT
- Working knowledge of ITIL processes
