Excellent opportunity for broadly skilled endpoint engineer able to demonstrate skills and take ownership over IRU for a key financial services entity. You will take ownership of the day‑to‑day management, security and optimisation of our end‑user device estate across macOS, Windows and mobile devices. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone with strong experience in modern endpoint management, device lifecycle processes, MDM platforms and secure user computing environments. You will help ensure devices are correctly deployed, patched, compliant, secure and well‑supported across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support endpoint devices across macOS, Windows, iOS and Android environments.
- Administer MDM / endpoint management platforms such as Kandji / Iru, Microsoft Intune, Jamf or similar.
- Own device provisioning, configuration, enrolment and lifecycle management, including joiners, movers and leavers.
- Manage Apple Business Manager / Automated Device Enrolment and Windows Autopilot processes.
- Build and maintain device compliance policies, configuration profiles, security baselines and conditional access controls.
- Deploy and manage operating system updates, application patches and endpoint security controls.
- Troubleshoot endpoint, MDM, enrolment, access, application and device compliance issues.
- Work closely with IT Support, Security and Infrastructure teams to improve endpoint reliability, security and user experience.
- Support endpoint‑related elements of onboarding and offboarding, ensuring devices and access are correctly provisioned or revoked.
- Maintain accurate asset records, documentation, runbooks and support processes.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive endpoint management tasks and improve self‑service capability.
- Ensure endpoint controls align with internal security, audit, regulatory and compliance requirements.
Candidate Profile
- The ideal candidate will be a hands‑on endpoint specialist who can combine strong technical troubleshooting with proper ownership of device management, compliance and process improvement.
- You should be comfortable working across Apple and Microsoft environments, understand how modern MDM should be run properly, and be able to improve endpoint processes rather than just maintain them.
