An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Investment Product Associate to join a renowned Private Bank. This role offers exposure across the full product lifecycle, supporting all phases of development - from idea generation and build, through to launch and post-launch distribution support to the Front Office. The successful candidate will help ensure that existing products remain fit for purpose, aligned to target markets, and deliver appropriate client outcomes. You will also have hands-on involvement in supporting governance forums including the Product Approval Committee (PAC), Lifecycle Management Panel (LCM) and Product Review Panel (PRP). It is an ideal opportunity for a candidate looking to develop core skills in preparing generating new ideas, high-quality proposals, presentations, and data analysis within a controlled regulatory environment. The product offering spans Portfolio Management, Advisory Services, Wealth Planning, Markets solutions (including structured products), Alternatives, and Credit services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of the local product offering through collaboration with key stakeholders, including the Head of Products and Services, Product Owners, Relationship Management teams, and Legal and Compliance.
- Assist in ensuring that new and existing products meet Risk, Compliance, and FCA requirements, and align with the UK product governance framework, including Consumer Duty expectations.
- Act as a point of contact for product-related queries from Relationship Managers, coordinating with Head Office, Product teams, and control functions to provide timely responses.
- Provide operational and administrative support in the running of governance forums (PAC, LCM, PRP), ensuring accurate documentation, audit trails, and high-quality materials.
- Maintain product governance action logs, tracking progress and liaising with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of actions.
- Contribute to product lifecycle reviews, including monitoring product performance, client outcomes, and target market alignment.
- Support Change Management initiatives impacting Products and Services, as required.
Key Requirements:
- 1-3+ years’ experience in a relevant role within Wealth Management or Private Banking.
- Broad understanding of wealth and private banking products and services.
- Experience working with ONE of the following products: Portfolio Management, Advisory Services, Wealth Planning, Markets solutions (including structured products), Alternatives, and Credit services.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as MiFID II and Consumer Duty.
- Exposure to Product Governance processes is advantageous.
- Progress towards or interest in the CISI Investment Advice Diploma is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
