Overview: Rothschild & Co's Pioneer Work Experience Programme is aimed at year 13 students who are considering a career in financial advisory. This programme, centred on our Global Advisory division, will serve as an introduction to our M&A, Debt and Restructuring and Global Markets Solutions businesses, giving you a valuable insight into life as a banker at Rothschild & Co.
During the programme, you will have the opportunity to network with junior bankers from our Global Advisory, Wealth Management and Five Arrows divisions, as well as taking part in informative skills sessions. You will also get the chance to understand more about the different business areas mentioned above through listening to presentations from Analysts across each division. Additionally, you will work together in groups with other students to prepare an exciting project and present it at the end of the programme.
We also run tours of our historical archives so students can see for themselves how our success across two centuries has been shaped by the involvement of the Rothschild family, and how our business model makes us truly unique. We hope that by the end of the programme many of you will be inspired by a career in financial advisory, and as such we will be offering a stay in touch programme for those that are interested in a career with us.
Qualifications and competencies required: On track for minimum 136 UCAS points or equivalent. Candidates should be motivated to learn, have an interest in financial services and be a good team player.
