Our division has ambitious growth targets, and with this we have seen the expansion of our team in London and Manchester, alongside two offices in Birmingham and Leeds. A vacancy has arisen for an individual to join the Business Management team as an analyst who will support the team. The team sits at the heart of the business and is focused on making WM UK a great place to work, supporting the CEO and Management team, and facilitating efficient management of the business.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supporting day-to-day Business Management activities
  • Creating presentations for the Head of Business Management, Culture and Engagement
  • Contributing to the execution of internal business events e.g. offsites, townhalls and implementation and execution of business-wide initiatives
  • Carrying out business analysis and reporting on findings
  • Tracking and producing regular reporting on business KPIs
  • Providing data for industry surveys, RFPs and other requests relating to business development
  • Supporting production of internal comms and maintenance of intranet
  • Supporting the Business Management team to improve and cultivate the culture of the business
  • Ad-hoc tasks which could include minute taking at meetings, following up on actions assigned to different stakeholders, etc.

Person Profile

  • 2:1 degree from a leading university or equivalent
  • Very strong IT skills to include advanced Excel, Powerpoint and Word
  • Highly numerate with good analytical ability and very high attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to multi‑task and maintain exceptional attention to detail even when working under pressure
  • Can‑do attitude, approaching all tasks with energy and enthusiasm
  • Confident building relationships across the business
  • Proactive and able to drive tasks/projects forward
  • Excellent written English
  • Exceptional communication skills; ability to articulate complex issues in a clear and concise manner
  • Team player, willing to get involved and support the team with a wide variety of tasks
  • The highest levels of professional and personal integrity
  • Understands the need for discretion
  • Inquisitive, willing to challenge
