Responsibilities
- Produce thematic research to identify relevant impact investment themes
- Generate research reports and presentations on investment opportunities
- Screen and evaluate investment opportunities against established theses
- Research sectors of potential targets
- Lead due diligence with the investment team
- Prepare investment memos
- Present opportunities to management, board, and investment committees
- Assist with deal execution
- Monitor existing portfolio companies
Hard Skills required
- Financial analysis and modeling, including equity transactions and assessing risk/return
- Developing impact frameworks for social and environmental assessment
- Portfolio management, performance monitoring, risk assessment
- In-depth market and sector research
