We are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Tax Senior to join our growing practice team on a full-time basis. This role is ideally suited to an individual with a strong background in tax compliance who is looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and professional environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the day‑time tax compliance function, managing deadlines, and supporting the development of junior team members.

The Role

  • Managing a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients
  • Preparing and reviewing:
    • Self‑Assessment Tax Returns
    • Corporation Tax Returns
    • P11Ds and employment‑related tax filings
  • Monitoring compliance deadlines and ensuring timely submissions
  • Handling client queries and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Undertaking tax research and resolving technical issues where required
  • Supervising, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior staff members
  • Assisting with the continual improvement of internal processes and procedures

About You

  • Have experience working within an accountancy practice environment
  • Possess strong tax compliance knowledge across personal and corporate taxation
  • Be professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, ATT, CTA) or qualified by experience
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Be capable of managing workloads effectively and meeting deadlines
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to work independently
  • Be proactive, professional, and client‑focused
  • Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior team members would be advantageous.
