The ideal candidate is a passionate, self-motivated, and detail-oriented team player who is committed to the success of our customers. You will focus on growing and developing existing clients, as well as generating new business by identifying, implementing and executing new strategies.
Account Management
To manage a portfolio of approximately 6 existing customers.
Identify new opportunities for growth within existing accounts, expanding range penetration and negotiating promotional activity to drive sales of existing ranges.
Work closely with the Marketing team, internal sales executive to develop a creative and board based strategy to optimise sales and revenue potential.
Build strong business partnerships with customers
Business Planning
Scrutinise sales trend data using company business intelligence software by product area and by customer to identify opportunities and threats
Participate in and contribute in sales meetings and ad hoc requests for customer or customer specific feedback.
Seek and suggest opportunity for innovation.
Build an awareness of competitor activity within the designated customer base. Defend against competitor erosion.
Business management
Maintain and improve area profitability through price negotiation, product mix and price management.
Formulate and present a customer specific sales growth strategy.
Understand the corporate objectives of each customer and build a healthy category mix which serves the objectives
Required Skills
Negotiation and selling skills & relevant /transferable experience.
Experience of managing and negotiating at a highly autonomous level with UK national or Key account customers.
Presentation skills

Qualifications
- Experience in Business
- 3+ years' of relevant work experience
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
