The Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality support to both male and female young people with a range of complex needs. The young people you support may present with challenging behaviours, mental health needs, emotional trauma and a history of absconding, so you ll need to remain calm, resilient and consistent in your approach. We re looking for someone who is firm but fair able to build positive relationships while maintaining clear boundaries, following safeguarding procedures and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of every young person.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support to young people aged 16-18.
- Build positive, professional relationships while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
- Promote independence by supporting daily living skills.
- Encourage engagement with education, training and other activities.
