Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver
Location: Crosshills
Pay: £13 per hour
Hours: 8:00am–4:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break
Contract: Temporary to permanent
We’re looking for a reliable, hands‑on Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver to join a friendly team. This is a varied role combining warehouse duties with deliveries, offering the opportunity to learn new skills and progress within the business.
The role
- Carrying out general warehouse duties and unloading containers.
- Picking orders from pick lists and packing boxes and pallets.
- Using basic computer systems to check purchase orders.
- Handling and preparing handrail materials, including pulling lengths from wooden drums.
- Making deliveries and drops to customers and other sites.
- Keeping the warehouse tidy and organised.
What we’re looking for
- A full driving licence and eligibility to drive company vehicles under the company’s insurance requirements.
- The ability to safely carry out physical duties, including lifting, pulling and handling materials.
- Basic computer skills and good attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Someone dependable who enjoys working as part of a team.
A forklift licence would be an advantage, but it isn’t essential.
