Are you an experienced Deputy Manager looking for your next opportunity within a supportive and well-established care environment? We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager to join the management team of a residential care home in Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional who is confident leading a team, supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring consistently high standards of person-centred care.

The Role

Working closely with the Home Manager, you will play a key role in the smooth running of the home, supporting staff and ensuring the health, wellbeing, dignity and individual needs of residents remain at the heart of everything the team does.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the care home.
  • Leading, supervising and supporting care assistants, nurses and support staff.
  • Acting as the senior point of contact and taking responsibility for delegated duties in the Home Manager's absence.
  • Ensuring residents receive high-quality, person-centred care in line with individual care plans.
  • Monitoring residents' wellbeing and ensuring care plans are reviewed and updated where required.
