Project Support Officer in Steeton

3-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Steeton | £28,000–£30,000 per annum (pro rata) We are recruiting a highly organised and proactive Project Support Officer to join a busy technical delivery team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This is a varied role providing administrative and coordination support to a team of Project Managers, helping ensure projects run smoothly and records, schedules and procurement activities are kept up to date. Key Responsibilities * Maintaining project records, trackers and documentation. * Updating project logs, monitoring progress and tracking outstanding actions. * Arranging meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes. * Coordinating schedules, milestones and delivery dates. * Liaising with suppliers, internal teams and installation engineers. * Supporting purchasing and procurement administration. * Monitoring supplier lead times and flagging potential delays. * Updating project management systems and preparing reports. * Following up outstanding information and ensuring actions are completed. About You * Previous experience in administration, project support, coordination or purchasing. * Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. * Confident communication skills, both written and verbal. * Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook. * Proactive approach with confidence following up colleagues and suppliers. * Experience within a project, engineering, IT or technical environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
